Second Wave of H1N1 Hits Ontario

Some current numbers:

• Ontario = 387 hospitalized cases, 28 deaths
  
• Canada = 1541 hospitalized cases, 86 deaths
  
• There has also been an increase of influenza-like-illness in some hospitals in many regions throughout Ontario.
• Increase in school absenteeism across many regions with some schools in Kingston reporting it as high as 40%
